MP’s Drive Government towards e-invoicing
UK Tory MPs Stephen Mc Partland and Adam Afriyie claim that electronic invoicing could streamline government administration efficiently, saving billions of pounds for taxpayers and allowing government to open new markets using their purchasing power. Within Europe the use of paper invoicing is in sharp decline. It is claimed that e-invoicing would deliver substantial savings benefits thought to be around £22billion-£28billion, as well as creating new jobs and increasing economic growth.
